On January 1, 2018, Vivo took part in the 9th Mall of Asia Grand Mascot Parade, showing off the brand’s colors through balloons and its iconic mascot.
The festive event, held at the Mall of Asia grounds, saw gigantic balloons and mascots parading the area to the delight of spectators.
Joining this event, Vivo paraded 40 of their mascots to represent the scale of success the brand has gained in the past year.
Vivo also distributed a total of 1,000 balloons to the crowd.
Vivo was the fifth largest brand globally in the third quarter of 2017, capturing a market share of 7.1-percent. Out of the top 5, Vivo recorded the highest year-over-year growth (32-percent in global shipment).
Locally, Vivo acquired a market share of 11-percent, landing the brand in the top 3.
