Blizzard Entertainment has a big surprise for Overwatch players!
It was announced at this year’s BlizzCon, an annual convention spearheaded by the said Califiornia-based game developing company, that a new hero and an exciting new map will be available for the next updates of the highly-acclaimed online multi-player shooter game!
The latest 26th support-type character will be named as Moira, a female geneticist. She was once a celebrated professional in the field of genetic engineering but due to her controversial paper regarding DNA alteration, she lost her reputation. To continue her project, she agreed to develop new weapons and technologies exclusively for the Blackwatch which is the covert ops division of Overwatch. Everything went well until it was discovered. Together with its members, the whole organization decided to cut their ties with her. This pushed Moira to search for unconventional ways of funding her discovery. Speculations say that the terrorist group Talon had been her sponsor after the disbandment of Overwatch.
Details regarding her official launch in the game for both PC, Xbox One, and PS4 versions are yet to be announced.

An exciting new map called “Blizzard World” is also one of the highlights in the video game upgrade. This essentially shows arenas that are based on Blizzard’s masterpieces like StarCraft, Diablo and Hearthstone. However, fans should be patient because it will be up on the servers not until the first half of 2018.
