The Queen B has a surprise for everyone on 2019!
Disney has announced last November 1 that the iconic singer and songwriter, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, is set to appear in the upcoming live-action remake of The Lion King. She will be playing as Nala, the lioness who is the love interest of Simba. The A-list cast also features Donald Glover, James Earl Jones, Chiwetal Eijofor, and Seth Rogens.
Popularly known from her vocal prowess and chart-topping songs, Beyoncé seems to be excited on her newest project with “The Jungle Book” director, Jon Favreau. In fact, she has shared the official line-up of actors whom she will be working with on her official Facebook page. It is also shared on Disney’s Twitter account which confirmed various speculations that are circulating earlier this year.
