Transformer Prime unveiled by Asus head honcho Jonney Shih

via Engadget

Just after a day of being teased in a teaser video, Asus head honcho and overall awesome guy Jonney Shih has revealed the next generation of their transformer line of tablets, the Transformer Prime at AsiaD. Engadget reports that the new device will be running a quad-core chip made by NVIDIA (which is more than likely Kal-El), 10-inch display, mini-HDMI port and a 14.5-hour battery, among other things. The device will still be able to take a keyboard, much like its older Transformer sibling and about 8.3 thick. Jonney has promised November 9 as the official unveiling,  and will probably ship with Honeycomb, though the chances of the device getting some sweet, Ice Cream Sandwich loving is pretty high.
