EON by Unionbank utilizes cutting-edge technology to make it easier and convenient for customers to do their banking transactions. The bank establishes what is touted as the country’s “first neo banking platform” or a direct bank that serves customers through online or mobile apps only.

Customers can immediately open accounts online with products such as EON Starter, EON Lite, EON Plus, EON Pro, and EON Cyber that do not require any minimum maintaining balance nor charge unnecessary fees and penalties. EON’s neo banking platform also provides ready and easy access to credit with the EON Duo credit card, EON Zero gadget loans, and EON Zoom auto loans.

For a full-on experience, EON revamped its website and mobile app, which is available for download from the App Store and Google Play. Customers will be able to experience easy banking without having to queue at branches. They can browse through the products and services like remittance to EON accounts and to other banks, pay bills to more than a hundred billers, or buy telco, transportation, cable, and gaming prepaid credits. They can select and add to the shopping cart, and check out in one go using an EON account or any Visa or Mastercard-powered prepaid or debit card.

EON will soon complement itself with a network of more than 4,000 agent branches nationwide, starting with Pera Hub, a cash and payment solutions hub with over 2,500 branches. More accessible than regular bank branches, customers may go to these agent branches to buy an EON VISA card, add funds to or withdraw from their EON accounts.
