MobilityCarsSuzuki launches the all-new 2019 Ertiga

Suzuki Philippines (SPH) recently launched the 2019 Suzuki Ertiga with much fanfare at the Mariott Grand Ballroom in Pasay City. The launch was led by Suzuki’s top-executives SPH manager director and Automobile Division general manager Keiichi Suzuki, and was attended by 600 motoring media, dealers, bank partners, and Club Ertiga representatives. The Ertiga is the best-selling vehicle in SPH’s lineup and it hopes that the new and improved version would continue to be a strong contender in the market.

“With the increasingly diversified demands of the local auto industry and needs of end-users, we cannot be complacent when we’ve done well and stop innovating. We want to make sure that our customers get more than they deserve, which is why we decided to further improve the best-selling Ertiga. With its new features and enhanced functions, the upgraded MPV will definitely enable more Filipinos to live the Suzuki Way of Life! and drive SPH forward,” Suzuki said.

    Strong and elegant styling

The Ertiga now sports some styling changes exterior-wise such as a taller nose and a redesigned front grille, lower roof side, integrated lower grill and fog lamps, and more defined curves that exudes a stronger character. In the interior, the Ertiga was redesigned with more comfort and space in mind with new details such as a flat bottom steering wheel that gives a better leg clearance, metallic chrome gauges, and deep curb fabric seats for better seating and effect.

    Superior riding comfort

Metro Manila traffic is made more bearable thanks to the Ertiga’s larger space especially in the 3rd row which gained more legroom, headroom, and better reclining and titling seats than the previous model. To keep back passengers cool, a rear AC was installed to keep the 2nd and 3rd row seats better comfort. Storage was also increased with the addition of several pockets and holders for coins, cups, and other hand carry items.

    Top-tier performance and safety

In the safety and performance department, Suzuki didn’t skimp on providing the Ertiga with its strong yet light frame dubbed as the HEARTECT. It disperses impact energy while greatly minimizing cabin noise and vibration for better comfort and passenger safety.

It also has the Total Effective Control Technology (TECT) which evenly distributes collision energy to the entire vehicle frame, keeping the passengers safe and minimizing damage to the car in case of an accident.

“All the upgrades on the new Ertiga are designed to give Filipino riders the confidence to enjoy every adventure knowing they and their family are safe and comfortable. Beyond making technological improvements on our vehicles, our goal is to always ensure that our customers have an optimum driving experience”, Suzuki mentioned.

    Pricing and variants

The all-new Ertiga is available in 7 colors namely pearl glorious brown, metallic magma gray, pearl burgundy red, prime cool black, metallic silky silver, pearl radiant red, and pearl snow white.
