Shell has locally launched the new Shell V-Power Nitro+ Lego Collection, a limited-edition set of Ferrari vehicles and track pieces made entirely out of Lego bricks. It’s available at participating Shell stations throughout the archipelago, making the Philippines the third country to debut the much anticipated toys.
Six new models have been created in collaboration with Ferrari and the Lego group. There are four iconic Ferrari cars (above photo, from left to right), namely the Ferrari 250 GTO, one of the rarest Ferrari models in the world with only 39 produced; the Ferrari F138, a Scuderia Ferrari-built car that won two Grand Prix championships; the Ferrari 512s, a consistent podium placer at the 1970-71 24 Hours of Le Mans and World Sportscar Championship, and another limited find with only 25 made available; and the Ferrari F12berlinetta, the company’s fastest ever road car. All four feature the most compact pull-back motor produced by the Lego Group allowing them to go as far as two meters on a single pull.
There is also a Finish Line and Podium with a Lego figure of a Scuderia Ferrari engineer; and a Shell Station with a Shell Fuels scientist Lego figure modelled after the Fiorano track in Maranello.
“The new Shell V-Power Nitro+ Lego Collection builds on the success of the first range of collectibles launched in the Philippines in 2012 and we hope that with it, we can continue to capture the imagination of customers and motorsports fans young and old to construct their very own racing world,” said Anthony Lawrence Yam, Pilipinas Shell vice president for retail.

Filling up with PHP 1,500 worth of Shell V-Power Nitro+ or FuelSave fuels entitles customers to choose one of the six models for either PHP 150 (V-Power Nitro+) or PHP 180 (FuelSave). One free Lego model will accompany every 4L of Shell Helix HX7 and 6L of Shell Helix HX7 Diesel. Purchasing the higher-end 4L Shell Helix Ultra or 6L Shell Helix Ultra pack entails two free Lego sets.
Additionally, Pilipinas Shell will again parade the Lego 1:1 Ferrari vehicle modeled after the Ferrari 150° Italia of the Formula 1 World Championship around the country this November. The dates and venues are as follows:
