Ford Philippines has unveiled the 50 Years Limited Edition All-New Mustang, a special vehicle commemorating five decades of the Mustang’s production. The nameplate that started in 1964 will have only 64 limited edition units up for grabs in the Philippines.
The 50th anniversary Mustang has a sleek and contemporary design bringing a modern feel to the classic vehicle. Underneath its hood is a 5.0-liter V8 power plant capable of a whopping 435hp @ 6,500rpm and pulling power of 542Nm @ 4,250rpm.
“The iconic Mustang continues to attract customers, who are eager to take it for a spin. With the 50 Years Limited Edition All-New Mustang, our customers will get to experience the Mustang on a whole new level. It’s an instantly classic car that is completely new,” said Kay Hart, managing director, Ford Philippines.
A refreshed trapezoidal grille complimented by new HID headlamps and signature tri-lighting fronts the special Mustang. A 50 Year instrument panel badge and 50 Year gas cap badge add to the model’s once-in-a-lifetime aesthetics. Special 19-inch premium luster nickel-painted aluminum wheels are on point for all the 64 unique Mustangs.
Its cabin has a 50 Year embossed logo on the front sport seats, raven black colored fabrics and seat, and door trim-inserts with cashmere stitching.
“From the way it looks, moves and sounds, driving a Mustang is a visceral experience unlike any other, and we make sure that all our customers feel it every time from the moment they step inside behind the wheel,” she added.
The 50 Years Limited Edition All-New Mustang is available in the following colors: oxford white, race red, black, triple yellow, competition orange, and magnetic metallic. Deliveries will start in March 2015.
Each of the 64 special Mustangs will be sold for PHP 3,099,000.
