Yamaha Motor Philippines, Inc. continues to go beyond its mandate of providing Filipinos quality motorcycles as it launched the new Sentrong Sanayang Teknikal ng Kabataan in Cavite last April 28. The training center aims to provide schooling and technical skills education to scholars and beneficiaries to help them become world class motorcycle professionals.
The brand partnered with Social Ventures Multi-Purpose Cooperative which was represented by chairman of the board Edgar Luis Sevilla and administrator Antonio Espineda. Also pitching in was Pangarap Foundation, Inc. through vice president Kevin Connolly. The opening ceremonies were also attended by YMPH president Toru Osugi, corporate service director Alfredo Lejano, and HR and IT manager Marilou Galit.
Additionally, Yamaha donated equipment and tools that will be used in the facility, while the surrounding community received school bags, canned goods, and various apparel.
