Timoteo Pardillo, a 59-year old overseas Filipino worker (OFW) employed as a seaman, recently became the 30,000th customer of the all-new Ford Everest in the Philippines.

Peter Fleet, president, Ford Asia Pacific, and Yukontorn “Vickie” Wisadkosin, president, Ford ASEAN, were on-hand at the Ford Alabang dealership to celebrate the occasion and personally hand the keys to Pardillo’s representative, Amador Razo, Jr. Pardillo was also awarded a complimentary two-year scheduled service plan (SSP) worth P30,000.

The 30,000th Everest – an Aluminum Metallic 4×2 Everest Trend with automatic transmission – is the third Ford vehicle for Pardillo, a self-professed Ford fan. The other two are a Ford EcoSport and previous generation Everest.

“I bought another Everest because I am very satisfied with the performance and quality of my Ford vehicles,” said Pardillo.

Despite being overseas and away from his wife and two children, Pardillo proudly provides for his growing family. One of his most important purchases is the Everest, a vehicle that provides them with safe mobility.

“We thank Mr. Pardillo for his continued trust and support of the Ford brand through the years. For a family man, the Everest is a perfect vehicle – it’s one of the smartest and safest vehicles in its segment,” said Fleet.

The Everest raises the bar for mid-sized SUVs with its striking design, outstanding capability, and advanced connectivity and driver assistance technologies.

Since its launch in the Philippines in 2014, the Everest has been Ford’s top-seller in the Philippines. Last year, full-year sales of Everest rose to 12,455 vehicles.
