Globe Telecom, through its information and communications technology (ICT) arm Globe Business, and TechZone Philippines Inc. have launched a joint venture aimed at catering to the changing needs and preferences of Information Technology (IT) gaming enterprises.
Called as TechGlobal Data Center, the facility provides a globally competitive, carrier-neutral facility to manage customers’ critical ICT requirements, which calls for the highest level of availability, reliability, and security. It is part of Globe Telecom and TechZone’s strengthened approach in addressing the requirements of enterprises that need higher power output and extra layers of security.
To further enable Philippine enterprises, TechGlobal received an ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management System (QMS) from Anglo-Japanese American (AJA) Registrars Inc. This means that TechGlobal met the requirements in terms of availability and measurement of its data center operations, facilities management, and physical security. In addition, since TechGlobal is located in a PEZA-accredited building, existing and incoming PEZA customers in the TechGlobal Data Center can enjoy their perks.
TechGlobal Chief Executive Officer Mike Frausing said: “The reason we created TechGlobal is to ensure that, with the understanding and expertise of both TechZone and Globe, we can cater to the end-to-end needs of our online gaming clients. As such, Globe provides the technical expertise to deliver the services coupled with the online gaming expertise coming from Techzone, creating a perfect marriage.”
The TechGlobal Data Center is currently operated and maintained by Globe Telecom’s Data Center Operations and reflects the best practices and processes aligned with the rest of other Globe Data Centers.
