The reinforced display carries with it the new 3D Touch technology wherein capacitive sensors use pressure to activate contextual actions such as peeking at your email or popping pictures into full view. Acknowledging user actions is a Taptic Engine providing 10- or 15-millisecond mini vibrations for feedback.
