There’s nothing like being able to watch your usual sporting events and to cheer on your favorite players while still getting those perfect winning shots to look back on. Shaking up the field of sports photography is Sony’s new Alpha A9, which promises an unmatched imaging performance. Its blackout-free feature has the ability to do continuous shooting at 20 fps for up to 241 RAW or 362 JPEG images. Its shutter speeds go up to 1/32,000 seconds with silent and vibration-free shooting. Spearheading this is the first of its kind 35 mm full-frame stacked 24.2 MP Exmor RS CMOS sensor that processes data 20 times faster than other Sony full-frame cameras, thus providing higher photo accuracy and 4K video recording. Add to that, it ships with an enhanced BIONZ X chip which helps minimise noise. This mirrorless camera houses two SD card slots, the new Z battery for longer use by 2.2 times, and an ethernet port.
