For Huawei, it seems that the lucky number 8 perfectly stands for the word “Oreo”.
The Chinese mobile brand has something bigger and better to offer on its customers as it prepares to launch its latest Emotion UI (EMUI) software updates following the release of the Mate 10 and the Mate 10 Pro, which are the most recent units in the said series.
According to some reports, the Huawei Mate 9 will be the first “phablet” to receive an upgrade several weeks after its successors are introduced. Meanwhile, the Honor 8 Pro and the Honor 6X are expected to receive Android Oreo on the latter part of 2017. The P-series flagships, which are the P10 and P10 Plus, will also have its own revamp in the near future.
Everyone is expecting to get the latest mobile operating system from Google on other Huawei smart phones such as the famous Honor 9 although the company has not yet confirmed the speculations.
The EMUI 8.0, Huawei’s tailored Android Oreo-based OS, gives smoother performance that assures countless possibilities to its users. Its AI features that automatically record interactions to the device as well as its real-time smart scene recognition and split-screen notification capabilities suggest advanced improvements from the previous EMUI 5.1.
