unknown_product_EnglishWith Windows 8.1 compatibility in tow, the 2014 versions of Norton 360 Multi-Device, Norton Internet Security and Norton AntiVirus were launched in the Philippines this past October 16th.

The updated versions come with a “significantly improved” SONAR mechanism, a protection engine that operates on the premise that while the physical nature of malware changes, its behavior often does not. In these new products, SONAR now has the ability to discover and shut down malware that attempts to disguise its bad behavior by operating inside legitimate Windows processes. SONAR also helps eradicate all traces of a malware attack in order to revert a system to its original state.

The latest products also feature compatibility with the recently launched Windows 8.1.

Norton has also managed to increase performance speed by 10% and boot time by 15% from the previous versions.

The latest versions of Norton 360 Multi-Device, Norton Internet Security and Norton AntiVirus retail for PHP 3,540, PHP 1,100 and PHP 980, respectively. They are available for purchase through Norton’s website and through authorized resellers of MSI-ECS Phils., Inc. by the end of the year.
