SAP recently announced the promotion of Filipino executive Edler Panlilio as the new managing director of SAP Philippines last October 16. With his new role, Panlilio’s tasks would include heading and driving business growth and operations of SAP Philippines. Responsible for building on SAP’s 22-year presence in the country, Panlilio will report directly to president and managing director of SAP Southeast Asia Claus Andersen.
Panlilio joined SAP in 2013 and formerly held the position of senior director of Key Accounts. His role then entailed the managing of a combined salesforce which include key account managers, Cloud specialists, Platform and CRM specialists which focus on TOP customers for SAP Philippines. As a 20-year veteran in the IT Industry, Panlilio has held leadership roles and responsibilities in many multi-national IT organizations in the country which include Symantec, Microsystems and Logica. Edler will succeed Ryan Poggi who will execute another executive role in SAP Asia Pacific Japan.
