    Japanese digital imaging and printing solutions giant Epson exhibited its winning products and solutions at the Epson Solutions and Technology Convention 2017 held at the Marco Polo in Ortigas, Pasig.

    The exhibition highlighted the confluence of the company’s innovations to improve efficiency in different workplace scenarios crossing different industries.

    Several guests from the media, partners, resellers, and select customers and end-users were invited by Epson to see how its products, from label-makers to interactive projectors can form a system that can improve the efficacy of businesses of different scales.

    “The Epson story has always been about creating Inspirational Technology for a Better Future. Always at the heart of these developments is our deep commitment to understand the changing needs of customers. Epson owns innovative technologies that are continually exceeding their expectations,” said Epson Philippines Sales Division Head Cris Sanchez.

    The company’s General Manager for Marketing, Ed Bonoan, provided an overview of the day’s “guided solutions tour” which ran through the different possible enterprise scenarios that companies may encounter and what products would best fit their needs. According to Bonoan, the aim of the presentation is to show Epson’s commitment to lessen work flow complexity and increase overall performance and productivity for its customers.

    The guests were taken to booths meant to represent different departments in various businesses, including Customer Service, Marketing, Training and Education, Finance, Logistics and Warehousing.

    Among the products showcased were: Epson’s Moverio smart glasses, which could be used in virtual presentations and tours, or as an inventory identification and classification tool for warehouse and logistics; the company’s line of interactive projectors which could work synchronized to up to four projectors through internet connection for cheaper and more effective presentation and training; high-yield business inkjet copiers with a maximum of 60,000 pages per refill of pigment ink; and large-format printers for marketing and industrial label-makers capable of printing out chemical-resistant labels.

    “In the past few years, Epson Philippines has gained the leading market share in its key categories, a testimony to the successful product designs and solutions that the company has created and offered to our customers. We hope that through this convention and our other undertakings for the corporate segment, we can help boost the successful integration of technology to Philippine businesses. This way, Epson can be a partner in making Filipino business owners pursue a global approach that will help them flourish, even with a stiff competition from local and foreign providers,” said Bonoan.
