Globe Telecom has recently wrapped up the Davao and Quezon City legs of the country’s first #NextLevelKa Clash of Clans tournament, and is headed up north to La Union and down south to Cebu for the next batch of clashes. A total of PHP 2-million worth of cash prizes, gadgets, and gems is at stake.

“The gaming community in the country is growing and it just shows how mobile gaming is gaining ground. We are excited to partner with CoC Philippines to bring the #NextLevelKa Clash of Clans tournament to CoC players and communities nationwide. True to its name, this will be a next-level gaming event where participants can meet and share a common interest. Globe is excited to mount these types of events because it gives us the opportunity to support the passions of our customers, specifically the youth, which includes gaming. Not only do we strive to offer them offers that suit their digital lifestyle, but also experiences and events that harness their passions and interests,” shares Dan Horan, senior advisor for consumer business at Globe.

Globe worked with Clash of Clans Philippines, the nation’s biggest COC group with more than 65,000 members, in organizing the tournament, including its rules and regulations. Interested participants must be a Globe subscriber registered to GoSURF50 which gives them 300MB of data for mobile browsing and 400MB of access to data-intensive games and apps such as Clash of Clans and Spotify.

Players should also have a mobile device with internet connectivity and the Clash of Clans mobile game app with a Town Hall at least Level 3 for the individual category or at least Level 7 for the clan category. Troop level per Town Hall will not be considered. Registration will be done at the Globe Prepaid booth present at the tournament venues.

The rest of the #NextLevelKa COC Tournament is scheduled as follows: August 1 to 2 at CSI Mall, La Union; and August 28 to 29 at Ayala Center, Cebu.
