    Global technology leader and Huawei, together with the Asia Pacific College inaugurated the first ever cloud computing laboratory in the Philippines at Asia Pacific Collge campus located in Magallanes,  yesterday afternoon. The facility, dubbed “Huawei-APC Innovation Center” is a 50-million peso venture by Huawei and APC that aims to deliver cutting edge technology training to local talent. The Huawei-APC Innovation Center allows enable collaborative projects in private cloud set-up and configuration, smart and ubiquitous networking implementations, unified communication strategies and cloud-based applications development. APC Chairman Ramon Y. Dimacali said that they welcome Huawei’s partnership with them, saying that “the laboratory will boost APC’s distinction as a center of excellence in IT education and equip our students with skills needed by the industries today.” Huawei Philippines Enterprise Business Group Country Manager, Richard Yang, said that, “Huawei is very pleased with the collaboration with APC and very soon, this laboratory will become another enabling center of Southeast Asia, in addition to the Huawei innovation centers in Malaysia, HongKong, and Singapore.
