    Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, has recently revealed that SportsFlow is among the top-ranked apps on Google Play Store’s Free Sports Apps Category, topping the category in Singapore, and number 2 in Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines and number 3 in Thailand.

    The free sports app has been downloaded by more than 130,000 sports enthusiasts in less than 3 months since its September 2013 launch.

    Maurizio Barbieri, Head of Sports for MSC, Southeast Asia stated, “Sports is about uniting fans with their passions and we are happy to be part of that journey for many sports enthusiasts through SportsFlow. It’s satisfying to be the sports app of choice by our customers and to be able to offer them a customizable, content-rich app on their Samsung devices.”

    SportsFlow is a news and content app aimed at sports enthusiasts. The app grants fans access to news articles, article summaries, and photos of several professional sports, including football (English Premier League, Italian Serie A), motor sports (Formula 1, MotoGP), cricket, basketball, baseball, tennis, golf and more. With SportsFlow, users can get multiple sports information in one single convenient app.

    Apart from sports news, the app is also customizable; users can get the information they want according to the sports and geographies of their interest. Fans can easily share through the apps’ built-in social feeds such as Facebook and Twitter.

    SportsFlow is currently available for users of the Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 8.0, GALAXY Note 8.0, GALAXY Note 10.1 and the GALAXY range of smart phones. The app can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store.
