Windows 8 shows up on file sharing sites

A day after Microsoft announced that Windows 8 was finally done, a copy of one of the versions of the new operating system showed up in file sharing sites. The version in question is Windows 8 Enterprise N – with the N denoting it is for European users, and does not have a built-in media player to conform to anti-trust rulings of the EU. People who have downloaded the file has vouched for the authenticity of the OS, though has commented this is a non-booting version, meaning pirates must create installation media. Instructions for generating a DVD- or USB flash drive-based installer were posted on some of the file-sharing websites, and available elsewhere on the Internet.
