YouTube is a great platform; it allows users to show what they’ve got and discover great talent across the world. Over the years, YouTube has become a source to where we watch almost anything and listening to music has become one of its biggest uses.
Its android app is set to receive an update. YouTube Mix, which came to desktop last year, is set to be added as an update to the YouTube app for Android.
YouTube Mix is a feature that auto-generates playlists of artists according to its popularity (or the most viewed uploads) on the video-sharing site. The user can type in their favorite artist on the YouTube search bar, and voila, a playlist pops-up!
Currently, the feature mostly pulls up Vevo content for established acts. According to Android Police, the addition of YouTube Mix is server-side change and it was enabled for Android very recently.
