Ford Philippines unveiled the newest version of Expedition, a full-size SUV featuring a bold and robust new design.

Performance enhancements to the entirely new Expedition include a 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine and innovative changes in its transmission, fuel consumption, frame, body, and driver-assist technologies. It delivers 375 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 470 lb-ft torque at 3,500 rpm. Aside from that, the all-new Expedition achieves greater fuel efficiency and vehicle tailpipe emissions during city driving through its Auto Start-Stop Technology. This programs the engine to switch off while keeping the air-conditioning, audio system, and exterior lighting functioning as the vehicle come to a stop when in traffic.

The engine is mated with a 10-speed SelectShift Automatic Transmission that offers quicker shift times, and a wide ratio span that optimizes gear spacing for better responses. It is also bolstered by a redesigned, fully boxed high strength steel frame an all-aluminum-alloy body.

Various driver-assist technologies were integrated on this new model. This includes Hill Descent Control, Hill Start Assist, BLIS (Blind Spot Information System) with trailer coverage and cross-traffic alert, Forward Sensing System, and Traction control.

Flexible and adaptable as ever, it supports a spacious cabin with room for up to eight passengers and their gear. There’s also a second-row seats that tip and slide forward for easy third row access when needed. With its advanced Cargo Management System, users are enabled to stow items inside their vehicles securely.

It is available in Magnetic Metallic, White Platinum, Shadow Black, and Blue Metallic.
