Almost 9,000 riders trooped to the Tagaytay International Convention Center as motorcycle radio show Motorsiklo Xklusibo celebrated its seventh anniversary in an event themed as MX Swerte sa Siete. MX gave away lots of items, including nine motorcycles and one pocket bike, to the participants.

Included in the raffle draw is a Suzuki Gixxer unit which was won by Archie de Guzman of Sta. Maria, Bulacan.

The Suzuki booth was crowded by riders who wanted to glimpse the best Raider R150 customized bikes. Those showcased during the MX anniversary were the monthly winners of the recently concluded Raider R150 Online Custom Bike contest. The finalists were composed of Tonchi Catindig of Tarlac, Jonathan Canoza of Antipolo, Dan Mark Briones of Cavite, and Jay-Ar Tulod of Tagum. Catindig’s blue, silver, and white entry was hailed as the year’s Best Custom Bike as unanimously agreed by judges Al Camba of Inside Racing Magazine, Telly Buhay of Turban Rider, Suzuki Philippines service head Vic Nanasca, and the crowd.

Besides the contest, Suzuki also provided their guests with food, freebies, games, and other surprises, as well as a free service campaign for the first 50 riders who bought a Suzuki oil filter. Suzuki spare parts and apparel were also made available for purchase, as well as information on motorcycle maintenance similar to what is offered by sites like Bikers Rights.

The event went on to surpass last year’s number of attendees. Both Suzuki and MX are hopeful that the next anniversary celebration, planned as Doing Great at Eight, will continue to be a success.
