    The best in the world of wheels will heat up the World Trade Center Manila this coming April at the 15th installment of the much-awaited Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2019.

    To get gear heads excited, here are some of the cars that will make an appearance at MIAS 2019.

    Kia Soluto

    The Kia Soluto is the first model to be launched under new distributor Ayala Corporation. The Soluto EX comes with many standard utilities and comfort features, all for a price that won’t empty the bank. Joining the Soluto is another new Kia model that will be unveiled at the MIAS.

    Subaru Forester

    The all-new Subaru Forester has been redesigned from ground up. It is the best Forester to date with a roomy interior as well as convenient features both for the driver and passengers. It comes EyeSight driver-assist technology, a 2.0-liter four cylinder engine paired with CVT, and an active torque vectoring which improves the Forester’s handling and stability.

    Suzuki Ertiga

    The top-selling Ertiga gives you more reason to want one. Sporting major upgrades, the all-new Ertiga MPV promises more interior space for passengers and luggage with its 130 mm increase in length. Now with sliding second-row seats and split-fold third row, the car can easily adapt to the different user needs.  The inside is also fitted multiple USB power ports, second and third-row aircon, touchscreen audio, and available wood-design accents. On the visual department, this seven-seater MPV comes with a new grille and more pronounced shoulder lines.

    Foton

    Foton is set to unveil a new range of competitively-priced vehicles options. MIAS-goers can expect to see the Gratour iM6, new TM variants of its mini-truck line, as well as updates to the 19-seater Traveller XL van, the 12- and 17-foot Tornado truck with van, the ETX-N cargo and crane truck, and the Hurricane EST-M with 20 and 22-foot capacity.

    Suzuki Jimny

    The all-new Suzuki Jimny is all worth the hype with its ladder-frame chassis, rigid axle suspension with coil springs, 210 mm ground clearance, a four-wheel drive with low-range transfer case, as well as a a 1.5-liter gasoline engine powering the mini SUV.

    Nissan IMx

    Nissan continues to put the spotlight on its Nissan Intelligent Mobility (NIM), which is all about safety, an efficient drive, and comfort for everyone aboard. Through NIM, Nissan vehicles can park effortlessly, get alerted before a possible collision, stay on their lane, avoid blind spots, among others.

    MG GS

    British brand, Morris Garages will be unveiling its first entry into the SUV segment with a compact crossover SUV – the GS. Featuring sharp styling, crisp lines, muscular archers, and a semi-fastback roofline, the SUV brandishes a tough, sporty, yet stylish aesthetic. Inside, the same crisp modern lines adorn the dashboard. Rear aircon vents will also be on some variants as well as adjustable rear backrests for maximum rear passenger comfort.

    Hyundai Santa Fe

    The latest edition of Hyundai’s Santa Fe is the SUV enthusiast’s dream come true. At PHP 2.338 million, the Hyundai Santa Fe 2.2 R CRDi GLS 2WD is bolder, smarter, and more powerful on the road.
