Nessotech formally launched the Moneygment app under its newly-established subsidiary Togetch, Inc., last January 18 in Makati.

Moneygment is a payments solutions mobile application which allows users to fulfill their monthly contributions to government agencies, make loan payments, and compute, file and pay their taxes.

Intended for self-employed professionals, freelancers, OFWs, owners of small businesses and house helpers, Moneygment stemmed from the difficulties and delays of processing for government transactions.

‘’Moneygment does not only focus on providing convenience for spending, but spending on things that will help ‘future-proof’ our customers,”said Togetech President and CEO Jessica Palmiano.

She explained that future-proofing meant being responsible citizens through filing and paying of taxes and utilizing government-mandated benefits such as SSS, Pag-Ibig and Philhealth.

From the application, users may be able to pay for their contributions directly via bank transfers (BDO and Metrobank), Dragonpay, PayPal, 7Eleven and ECPay. Standard charges for services like PayPal may apply.

Right now, Togetech is the only non-bank partner that is licensed by SSS to hand out PRN codes for transactions, working together towards real-time contribution posting.

The contributions and tax modules are already available for use with additional modules like more government transactions, money transfers and utilities payments will be added later in the year.

Palmiano assures users that Togetech and Moneygment have complied with government data privacy and security requirements. She adds that the developers have put in all the necessary security measures to keep personal information secure from breaches and leaks.

Moneygment is available to download for Android users (the iOS version is yet to be released) and is currently free for all transactions. No word has been mentioned regarding when transaction fees will be imposed, but Togetech hopes that it will not exceed PHP 20.

Nessotech is an IT firm and systems solutions provider that has served companies such as banks and non-bank remittance firms applying for their technical accreditation with SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-Ibig.

Managed by a seasoned team with experience in both financial and IT sectors, Nessotech has diversified with the recent establishment of Togetech whose mandate is the creation of mobile applications that directly serve customers, including retail and peer-to-peer clients.
