Reports from The Wall Street Journal stated that Apple is in the process of developing iPhones with larger display for this year.
Jumping into the bandwagon of smartphones with larger display that majority of Android phones exhibit, Apple is said to be on the process of creating a pair of iPhones – one with over 4.5inch display and the other with over 5 inches of screen. A number of reports, however, are claiming that both phones are likely to come out in 4.7inch and 5.7inch display.
It is also speculated that both iPhones will come in metal casing as Apple plans to stop producing phones that uses plastic as an exterior covering, which is present on last year’s iPhone 5C. Reports stated as well that the iPhone is still in the preliminary development phase and could be on the planning stage for some time now.
Aside from having a larger display, Apple hasn’t released any official statement regarding other changes and improvements they might include in the next iPhone release.
