Yahoo welcomes the latest iOS iteration by presenting a sleeker and better-looking Yahoo Weather App which brings climate data to life. Using video game technology, the new app promises intuitive weather reports using location-based photos courtesy of Flickr combined with on-screen weather effects.
When the forecast declares a hot summer’s day, you’ll see haze come alive on your screen; storms will have rain; and so on. As developers work on the app, expect to see more effects over the next months.
