Instant messaging app, Viber, recently updated to version 4.0. Included in the update are two major changes–the Sticker Market, and Push to Talk.
Stickers are common in instant messaging apps, and Viber has decided to join the sticker bandwagon with the introduction of Sticker Market. Aside from expanding its line of free stickers, Viber now offers sticker sets such as Powerpuff Girls, and Adventure Time stickers you can purchase for Php90.62.
Viber is also introducing Push to Talk, an instant voice messaging function which allows users to send short voice messages to each other.
Other updates on Viber 4.0 include new custom backgrounds for Conversations, Message Forwarding function, and group conversations with up to 100 participants.
Along with these other enhancements, Viber is also rolling out the app to Android tablets. Viber users can now enjoy the app on their tablets with a design optimized for the device. All contacts and messages will be fully synchronized on all devices so users can have the option to easily switch from smartphone to tablet in an instant.
