Technology4G PlayBook makes an appearance at CrackBerry forums

As nice as RIM’s BlackBerry PlayBook is, it’s not a product that you’d expect to sport the latest connectivity features. Surprisingly enough, it seems that RIM is looking to inject new life into the aging tablet via LTE connectivity. A recent post made by a user at the CrackBerry forums suggest that RIM is looking to release a 4G version of the tablet, which is surprising, to say the least. While there’s a number of photos floating around in said forums, there’s not much known about it – but we would be very surprised if RIM didn’t at least update the internals to have it carry a bit of oomph, especially since there are quad-core tablets floating around now.
