TechnologyApple finally launches iTunes in the Philippines, you can now buy songs...

After a long wait, Apple has finally seen the light and has now officially launched iTunes in the Philippines and in 12 other territories today. What that means, dear reader, is that you can now purchase songs, episodes and apps through the Apple iTunes store using your locally issued credit card – no more having to go through countless unnecessary hoops to legally purchase content for your Apple slate or smartphone. We’re not the only country feeling the Apple love – users from Hongkong, Singapore and Taiwan (among others) can now also buy content through the store using locally issued cards. Now you’ll have to excuse us – we feel a Police Academy marathon coming in our iPads.
