TechnologyGoogle Chrome is now number two

Google Chrome makes a mad dash past Firefox for the first time , marking its place as the second most popular web browser in use today.

After only three years in existence, Chrome has made serious strides into becoming the people’s browser of choice, cutting past Firefox for the first time, according to StatCounter.  Surprisingly, Microsoft’s Internet Explorer still dominates the top spot globally (40.63%), with Chrome at 25.69%, which is still a significant gap to close. Firefox isn’t that far behind though, catching up at 20.09%. Trailing far far far behind is Safari at fourth place, holding only 10.76% of the market share.

So which browser are you using? Do you think that IE still deserves that top spot? Or do you think that the battle for number one will be between Mozilla and Google?
