TechnologyGoogle officially launches Chrome Web Store locally, locally made apps now available...

While it did take quite a while since the initial roll-out in the US in May, Google’s Chrome Web Store has finally landed in Philippines with locally made pinoy content in tow. While we’ve been able to access content from the Chrome Web Store since it was originally announced, the local availability means that Pinoy developerswill be able to easily build and distribute their apps to the more than 200 million people around the world who already use Chrome.

Like we said, a bunch of pinoy made apps have also landed in the store –  Pinoytuner and Terno Recordings give music lovers something to rave about,  while the My ABS-CBN app supplements the popular TV station. The new PBA app keeps you up to date with the latest basketball news. You can check all of these great apps yourself when you go to the Chrome Web Store here.
