The award-winning Mac desktop virtualization software Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac has been recently launched. It enables the user to run both Windows and Mac applications on a Mac without rebooting.
New features such as cloud storage optimization for iCloud, Dropbox, Google Drive and SkyDrive were added as well. In addition, it has the new Windows’ Launchpad that can also be used in the OS X Mavericks.
Parallels Desktop 9 also improved the performance of MacBook Power Nap functionality in Windows and Windows applications, while integrating Thunderbolt and Firewire storage devices to a Windows virtual Machine. It has also an enhanced support for Mac gestures inside Windows application and gives Linux users a better integration with the Mac OS.
A more upgraded performance such as 40 percent increase in disk performance, 25 percent faster startup and shutdown and 20 percent less time on suspending the virtual machine are guaranteed when using the Parallels Desktop 9.
