    We know Korean manufacturer Samsung is a major player in the smartphone space, but we’ve learned today just how many units it’s moving per quarter – Unwired View has said that the company is close to announcing that they’ve managed to sell over 40 million smartphones for the first quarter of this year, with stronger sales expected in Q2 with with the imminent release of the Galaxy S III. Russian Tech Blogger Eldar Murtazin has said that there’s already 10 million pre-orders from channel partners (note, not consumers) for the unreleased device.  The next Galaxy S3 is pegged to have an Exynos quad-core 1.5GHz CPU, have a hi-res display and sport a large 4.7-inch display.
