    We told you guys a couple of days ago that flooding in Thailand was the disrupting supply the global supply of HDDs. Now it seems that the floods will also contribute to the rising prices of gadgets and devices that use HDDs, which include notebooks and basically any gadget that uses HDD for storage. Marketwatch reports that Acer has said that  it is raising PC and notebook prices as hard-drive prices rise. IHS iSupply has estimated that worldwide shipments of hard drives could fall by 30% during the last three months of the year, which would also contribute to the rise of prices for HDDs and any gadget that utilizes it for storage. Our advice is to buy whatever gadget you’re eyeing now to avoid paying for higher prices when the December comes.
