    The Public Relations Society of the Philippines recognized Globe for several of their PR programs and tools at the highly-coveted 48th Anvil Awards at the Makati Shangri-La last March 6.

    Globe was recognized for the following programs: Globe Network Transformation Program Transparency Plan, an extensive communications campaign employed by the company to create and sustain subscriber awareness on the ongoing network modernization program; the Globe 2011 Annual & Sustainability Report (ASR), the first  B+ externally assured telco annual & sustainability report; and the Globe Gets Me Campaign, considered a landmark in the industry as the country’s first augmented reality print campaign.

    Also lauded was the Globe International Business Group for their highly successful OFW Christmas event, ‘Buo Ang Pasko: The Biggest Kris Kringle.’ as an outstanding PR tool. Globe, through its corporate social responsibility arm, Globe Bridging Communities (Globe BridgeCom) was also recognized for its My Fair Share Program under the Entrepreneurship/Job Generation/SME category.
