Here’s some awesome news for all you anime fans out there! Collaborative subtitling hub Viki has opened a new YouTube channel, TezukaAnime, which features classic anime shows such as Astro Boy, Jungle Emperor Leo, Black Jack, and Dear Brother with subtitles in various languages, including English and Filipino.
TezukaAnime currently hosts 16 full-episodes of Osamu Tezuka’s Astro Boy series with subtitles uploaded so far in English, Arabic, Romanian, Turkish, Spanish, French, and transcribed Japanese. Tezuka’s other famous series, Black Jack, is currently available with Filipino subtitles. According to Viki, as more translators finish captions in new languages, they will add them to the channel. The channel’s videos are available anywhere in the world.
