Pats on the back all around for the local Canon team. According to research firm IDC, Canon’s PIXMA line of inkjet printers dominated the local inkjet category with an overall market share of 35% from January to June 2011. Breaking down the report, Canon managed to nab the single function printer category with a 43% market share, and multifunction inkjet printer segment with a  28% share. During the period, Canon PIXMA iP 2770 was the top selling single function printer in the market.
