Power management company Eaton announced the launch of its latest suite of electrical solutions for the Philippines market. These included the Micro Data Center, an easy-to-configure solution for IT equipment storage in ‘Edge-of-Cloud’ applications; 93E XL UPS that offers a unique blend of energy, space and installation savings; and the versatile FlexPDU range and easy-to-configure RE enclosure series. These solutions allow IT managers to reduce their total cost of ownership by reducing installation costs and deployment time while maximizing availability by utilizing pre-configured and integrated solutions.

As more companies shift IT resources to on-site edge-computing, IT managers are in need of cost effective power, cooling and IT infrastructure that can be stored in both office environments and indoor manufacturing sites with fully-contained environmental solutions. Eaton’s Micro Data Center ships are fully configured with Eaton’s industry-leading power systems, a standard rack and cooling unit, and integrated monitoring system, saving installation time, minimizing total cost of ownership (TCO) and maximizing network reliability.

In addition, Eaton’s 93E XL UPS delivers superior power protection with the highest power and energy density in the industry. The 93E XL UPS has a compact footprint, flexibile design, and is easy to install. It is ideal for applications where long backup times are needed and space is a constraint.

“The 93E XL UPS is in a class of its own. With the lowest TCO of any UPS in its class, the 93E XL can provide extended back-up times in a very small footprint. Customers can increase the reliability of their system while minimizing real state costs,” said Jorge Aguinaga, Marketing Manager, Eaton Power Quality Division, East Asia.

“Eaton continues to invest in new products and solutions around back-up power, power distribution, IT racks and micro data centers to ensure that the IT critical infrastructure is always keeping pace with developments of the network or cloud,” Aguinaga said..

Eaton’s electrical business is a global leader with expertise in power distribution and circuit protection; backup power protection; control and automation; lighting and security; structural solutions and wiring devices; solutions for harsh and hazardous environments; and engineering services. Eaton is positioned through its global solutions to answer today’s most critical electrical power management challenges.
