There’s a new toy in town for the karaoke buffs.
Courtesy of TJ Media, a developer and producer of videoke devices for Filipino, Korean, Japanese, Thai and Vietnamese markets, has launched a new product called the Grand Videoke—a made-for-home compact videoke system that features HD video and instrumentals.

The Grand Videoke is the first videoke system to be powered by the Dream SAM 3308 independent sound module, which enables the microphones to produce high-definition audio. The two wireless microphones that are part of the package come with a built-in equalizer.
In addition to HD audio, the Grand Videoke also produces HD video. Its stock of background footage includes popular Philippine tourist destinations, global tourist attractions, K-Pop music videos, and OPM music videos.
According to the company, the songs contained in the Grand Videoke were particularly engineered to sound as close as possible to the original recording. Loaded onto the device are MP3-based, live-recorded instrumentals and back-up vocals.
The Grand Videoke has a total of 5,157 built-in songs. The line-up includes popular tracks from the 90s and 80s, OPM contemporary hits and classics, K-Pop songs, and some of the latest international hits.
It also has the ability to record up to 500 minutes of singing and you have the option to store the recording on a USB flash drive or an SD card, as the device has provisions for both.
Additionally, it can serve as a multimedia player that lets you playback videos, songs and photos.
Anne Curtis as endorser
To support its marketing efforts, Real Sound Corporation, the exclusive distributor of the Grand Videoke, has engaged Anne Curtis to be the product’s key endorser.

According to Anne, her favorite feature of the Grand Videoke is its HD sound. “I think [the Grand Videoke] is very different because [the sound] is more realistic,” said Anne. “You don’t feel like you’re at a typical videoke bar or lounge. That’s why I really love it.”
“Another [favorite feature] would definitely be the choice of songs. There are a lot more modern songs that we can all sing along to,” she added.

The Grand Videoke retails at PHP 24,000 and is now available at Odyssey Music & Video, Astrovision, SM Appliance Center, SM Music and Video Store, Abenson, Western Marketing, and other music and appliance stores nationwide.
