Untitled 3Graduation season is here. It’s the one time kids all over can ask their parents for one thing, and the single time parents have no option but to say yes. If the fresh grad asks for a trip to europe or a new car, there’s little the parents can do but grit their teeth and bear it, but if the request is a little simpler, say a new smartphone, there are quite a few options available on the market, courtesy of Techbox Philippines.

Lenovo has a huge stable of handsets from which to choose. Their offering of quad-core, dual-sim devices means there’s a device that meets any requirements a new member of the workforce could need. The S650 and S930 both offer 1.3GHz Cortex-A7 processors, expandability up to 32GB through a microSD, clear 8MP camera, and 1GB RAM. The S930 even offers a little extra thanks to Dolby Digital Plus sound.

Their bigger brothers, the S960 and K900 both pack a clearer 13MP camera for your most important snapshots. The S960 comes with a powerful 1.5GHz Cortex A7 processor, while the K900 has a powerful Intel Atom Z2580 2GHz processor that blows a lot of its competitors clear out of the water.

Those who want uncompromising style and performance need look no further than the K910. It packs a zippy 2.2GHz Krait 400 processor and 2GB of RAM to handle applications, videos and websites without a hiccup.

The Lumia 1020 has a remarkable 41MP camera and 32GB of internal memory to store all the photos you might want to take. Couple this with 2GB of RAM and a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, and you have everything you need to get the job done. Nokia’s flagship device, the 1520 is a monster. With a 2.2GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and powerful 20MP camera, combined with a huge 3400mAh battery, this is a phone that won’t let you down no matter where you find yourself.

Those who want a truer cameraphone experience can look to the Nokia 808 Pureview. The 808, which runs the Symbian operating system, has a massive 41MP camera and Xenon flash that offer uncompromising image and video quality. It’s a camera that also happens to be a phone.
