While Hurricane Sandy may have put the brakes on Google’s Nexus event today, that doesn’t mean that the search giant can’t spread the official word on their newest Nexus device. Finally, after being thoroughly leaked, the LG made Google Nexus 4 is finally official. Just like what the leaks said, the Nexus 4 has a 4.7-inch, 1280×768 resolution True HD IPS Plus display, giving the Nexus 4 a pixel density of 320ppi. All of that display real estate is lovingly protected by a Gorilla Glass 2 panel. Imaging-wise, the Nexus 4 is armed with a 8-megapixel rear camera complimented with a 1.3 megapixel HD front camera.

On the inside, the Nexus 4 sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, with 1.5GHz Quad-Core Krait CPUs. That impressive spec is paired with 2GB of RAM. Storage-wise, users will be able to choose between a 8GB and a 16GB variant, unfortunately the Nexus 4 does not come with a microSD card slot, so you’re pretty much stuck with the storage option that you choose when you buy one. As is the custom with Nexus branded devices, the Nexus 4 will come with the latest Android version – 4.2. The Nexus 4 also comes with wireless charging capabilities, as well as NFC built-in.

As far as roll-out is concerned, US, UK, Canada, Germany, France, Spain and Australia will be the first countries to get their hands on it come November 13, unfortunately there’s no word on pricing as of yet.
