Mozilla will be launching the first two smartphones—the ZTE Open and Alcatel One Touch Fire— that will be running on its operating system, Firefox OS.

The two devices will first be available through Telefonica (Spain) and Deutsche Telekom (Germany). Telefonica announced that the ZTE Open will be offered in Spain starting today for 69 euros, or around $90, while individual partners will be releasing the dates of availability for each market.

Mozilla’s Firefox OS is a HTML-based, open source mobile OS that should provide a user-friendly alternative to Android. The ZTE Open is a 3.5-inch smartphone that features a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 256MB of RAM, a 3.2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, A-GPS, and Wi-Fi. The Alcatel One Touch has nearly identical specs, save for its Qualcomm processor.
