Nokia has just sent word that they’ve just released the newest member to their Windows Phone 8 Lumia family: the 620. Possibly their most affordable Windows Phone 8 smartphone to date, the Lumia 620 is the company’s attempt to break into the lucrative entry level smartphone segment. The Lumia 620 sports a polycarbonate body with their new “dual-shot” manufacturing process, which basically puts another layer of polycarbonate plastic of a different color on top of the base layer, which produces secondary color blends and depth effects.

The Lumia 620 has a smaller, 3.8-inch TFT WVGA ClearBlack display that has a resolution of 800×480, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor with 1 Ghz dual-core CPU with 512MB of RAM. On the imaging side, the Lumia 620 has a 5-megapixel autofocus camera, along with a front facing VGA camera. The Lumia 620 will start hitting Asian markets (and hopefully ours) once January 2013 rolls around, and will hit Europe and Middle East soon after. Nokia is pegging the price of the Lumia 620 at $249 which roughly translates to Php 10171 before taxes and duties.
