Sony has just released the latest addition to its already impressive Xperia lineup of phones, the Xperia SP. The SP brings eye-wateringly-fast LTE connectivity, Sony’s trademark viewing experience and and razor-sharp HD screen, all housed in a beautifully designed shell.

The SP brings only the best Sony has to offer. The SP features a 4.6 inch touchscreen at a crisp resolution of 319 ppi, protected Corning Gorilla Glass, and enhanced with Sony’s Bravia 2 Engine, which gives you gorgeous HD video wherever you may find yourself. Shutterbugs will appreciate the SP’s 8 MP autofocus camera, backed by a long history of Sony imaging technology, and NFC connectivity for quick, painless image and file sharing.

The SP runs a dual-core 1.7 GHz Krait processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, so it wont leave even hardcore users wanting for more.

The Xperia SP’s premium design, aluminium frame, screen size and illumination all come together in a high-quality device that only Sony’s proven innovation and engineering expertise can deliver,” explains President and Managing Director Yasushi Asaoka. “The Xperia SP shoots razor-sharp images and vibrant colours in any type of light, thanks to its 8 MP camera with High-Dynamic Range (HDR) and Exmor RS. This phone is perfect for the technology-savvy and those who are unwilling to compromise function or style in their smartphones.”
