The country is yet to be amazed with another innovation from LG. The slate that received positive reviews and acclaims globally is set to land in the Philippines by the end of the month.
Taking on the success of its smartphone sibling, LG G2, the LG G Pad 8.3 is the company’s first tablet under the premium G series.

The LG slate sports an 8.3-inch Full HD IPS Display that provides sharp and clear images in high resolution, lifelike colors, and details. Display territory is expansive thanks to its slim bezel. It has a narrow 126.5mm width making way for a comfortable one-handed grip. The LG G Pad 8.3 also integrates dual rear speakers on the back for enhanced volume and sound quality.
Speedy Performance and Intuitive UX
Specifically designed for multitasking efficiency, the LG G Pad 8.3 is powered by a 1.7 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon Processor. Users can seamlessly download and stream media, and browse the web via its Wi-Fi support. The device also packs a whopping 4,600 mAh battery that will last for hours even with hardcore gaming and media viewing.
Useful features found in the LG G2 such as QSlide, Slide Aside, QuickRemote, and knock-on are also pre-installed on the LG G Pad. Additionally, the G Pad also has new features such as Life Square and Guest Mode with a Multi-User Function.
Seamless Connectivity

With the QPair, the LG G Pad 8.3 connects and syncs Android devices to itself with maximum practicality and convenience through Bluetooth technology. The G Pad also alerts the user when he receives a call or message on his paired smartphone; the user can even reply directly on the G Pad. With the same connection, the G Pad can also receive pop-up alerts of the most recent apps used on the paired smartphone. Also, the G Pad can acquire Internet via Phone, transfer QuickMemo notes from itself to the phone, and even stream music and videos wirelessly to a TV or other devices through SmartShare.
Local Price Point
Locally, the LG G Pad 8.3 will retail for P16,990. It is set to hit Philippine stores by the last week of November 2013.
