With iOS 7, you can now choose whether you’d like a male or female version of Siri to interact with.
Changing the voice only requires a few simple steps:
- Launch the Settings app, tap on General, then Siri.
- Here, you can disable Siri, change the default language, change a couple more settings, and also point to Siri some of your personal information.
- Selecting the Voice Gender option will only display two options—Male or Female.
If you’ve decided to change the gender, you can always change it back by visiting the same settings screen.
Remember, however, that the option to change Siri’s voice will not be available across all languages. So if you can’t find the option on your device, it’s likely the language isn’t supported yet.
