The road to becoming a licensed Electronics Engineer isn’t easy and that’s exactly why
preparation matters. Every year, thousands of Electronics Engineering students take on one of
the most challenging licensure examinations in the country. It demands focus, persistence,
knowledge, and a solid strategy. The question is, are you ready to take that step?
This April 25, 2026, the Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines, UP Student Chapter
(UP IECEP) invites you to take charge of your preparation as Get Licensed returns for its 16th
installment. Get Licensed 2026 is built to help future electronics engineers sharpen their skills,
test their readiness, and move one step closer to earning the title craved for by thousands of
test takers.
At the heart of Get Licensed 2026 is a comprehensive Mock Board Examination, designed to
simulate real board exam conditions. This gives participants the chance to measure their
preparedness, identify strengths and weaknesses, and experience the pressure of licensure
level questions before the actual exam day. It’s the perfect opportunity to ground your approach
to a stable foundation of experience.
But preparation doesn’t stop at answering problems. Get Licensed 2026 also features a series
of engaging seminar talks led by experienced professionals from the electronics engineering
industry and the field of research and development. These sessions will give participants a
clearer picture of what lies beyond the board exam which are career paths, industry insights,
and practical advice drawn from personal experiences. Expect lessons you won’t always find in
textbooks, delivered by people who’ve been exactly where you are now.
Now in its 16th year, Get Licensed continues to bring together Electronics Engineering students
from different universities, united by one goal: to prepare smarter and perform stronger. More
than just an event, it’s about shifting from “almost ready” to fully prepared. Sixteen years of Get
Licensed have empowered generations of students to take ownership of their preparation. This
year, it’s your turn. Get geared up for the future with us!
