OPPO Find N6 reviewed

When I learned that the OPPO Find N6 would be available in the Philippines, I requested to spend time with a test unit.

My daily setup already revolves around a Mac, an iPhone 16 Pro Max, and an iPad Pro. I also carry an HONOR Magic V3 as a secondary Android foldable because our team operates on Google Workspace, where apps such as Gmail, Google Docs, Drive, Chrome, Meet, and Google Chat benefit from the flexibility of a larger screen and Android’s multitasking capabilities.

I did not need the Find N6 to introduce me to foldables. I wanted to know whether OPPO’s latest device could take the Android spot in my Apple ecosystem.

Its near-creaseless display, surprisingly light design, multitasking features, and optional AI Stylus Set made a strong first impression. The real question was whether those strengths would matter in everyday use.

Design: 4.5/5

One of the biggest compliments I can give the OPPO Find N6 is that it does not feel like a foldable when it is closed.

At 8.99mm thick when folded and 225g, it feels just like a conventional flagship smartphone. The proportions are comfortable, the cover display is immediately usable, and the device slips easily into a pocket or handbag without feeling bulky.

Build quality is equally impressive. The Titanium Flexion Hinge feels solid and precise, while the overall construction delivers the fit and finish expected of a premium flagship.

The outer screen is large enough for most quick tasks, while the 8.12-inch inner display provides ample space when opened. The crease is also one of the least noticeable I have encountered on a foldable. Visually, it almost disappears during use, and there is virtually no crease feel when swiping across the screen.

The matte display finish is another detail I came to appreciate. It cuts down reflections and keeps the screen easier on the eyes, especially during long reading, editing, and browsing sessions. The result is a foldable that feels refined, practical, and mature.

Hardware: 5/5

Beneath its slim exterior, the OPPO Find N6 carries the hardware expected from a flagship foldable.

At its core is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, backed by 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Performance is consistently fast and responsive, whether handling productivity apps, photo editing, or several browser tabs at once.

Battery life is a clear strength. The 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery comfortably lasts through a full day of email, messaging, document reviews, web browsing, and social media management. When it needs a top-up, 80W SUPERVOOC wired charging and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging help minimize downtime.

While photography is not my primary reason for choosing a foldable, the Hasselblad-tuned camera system is versatile enough for product documentation, social media content, and everyday shots. The setup combines a 50MP main camera, 50MP ultra-wide camera, and 200MP periscope telephoto camera.

Durability is also emphasized by the Titanium Flexion Hinge and by IP56, IP58, and IP59 dust and water resistance ratings. WiFi 7, Bluetooth, NFC, and support for the optional OPPO AI Stylus complete a well-rounded hardware package.

User Experience: 4.5/5

The real test for the Find N6 is not whether it can run multiple apps at once. Most premium foldables can do that. The question is whether it can fit into a workflow that already works well.

Most of my day is spent in front of a Mac, but I typically take my work with me even when I am away from my desk. I am constantly checking email, reviewing article drafts in Google Docs, monitoring Google Chat conversations, managing schedules, and responding to messages.

The Find N6 fits naturally into that workflow.

The Oppo Find N6 unfolded, beside an iPhone 16 Pro Max.

The larger inner display is particularly useful for reviewing long-form content. Seeing more of an article at once reduces scrolling and makes editing more comfortable than on a conventional smartphone. Keeping a document open while monitoring Google Chat or Gmail also requires less app switching.

I also find myself reaching for the Find N6 more often than expected. Reviewing drafts, checking schedules, approving content, and responding to messages simply feels better on the larger display.

Some of the features I appreciate most are not the headline features. NFC support lets me use the Find N6 to unlock my front door’s digital lock instead of having to pull out my RFID card. It is a small convenience, but one that I value.

I also truly love the matte display. The less glossy surface reduces reflections, making long reading and editing sessions easier on the eyes.

The optional AI Stylus Set is useful for annotating documents, marking up PDFs, and jotting down notes. My only complaint is that it remains an optional accessory rather than being included in the box. Given how well it complements the foldable form factor, it feels like a missed opportunity.

Value : 4/5

At PHP139,999, the Find N6 is undeniably expensive. Adding the optional AI Stylus Set at PHP7,999 pushes the investment even higher.

At this pricing tier, casual users who mainly browse social media, stream content, and exchange messages may consider a conventional flagship smartphone more sensible. But for users who spend much of their day working across documents, email, cloud storage, and collaboration platforms, the value becomes easier to appreciate.

The Find N6 offers more than a folding screen. It combines the convenience of a smartphone with many of the benefits of a tablet while remaining surprisingly slim and lightweight. It does not replace a computer, but it gives productivity-focused users a versatile large-screen device they can carry almost everywhere. That convenience helps justify the premium.

Bottomline

The OPPO Find N6 succeeds because it does not ask users to change how they work. Closed, it feels much like a conventional flagship smartphone. Opened, it offers a larger, more comfortable workspace for reading, editing, and multitasking.

Its premium price means it will not be for everyone, but it comes closer than most devices to combining the convenience of a smartphone with many of the benefits of a tablet..
